Creating Excitement for Data Exploration: Students Using Data
Data exploration starts with making predictions of what you will find in your data. Making predictions will spark curiosity and create excitement for looking at your data. Keep in mind that predictions are different from assumptions because predictions will be visible in your data!
Using this worksheet with students provides a great opportunity for students to become involved in data analysis and feel a part of school growth planning. Involving students in the process will also lead to increased engagement for future surveys.
